"Epiphany" is a funny word, isn't it...

"Epiphany" means a manifestation -- of Godliness, of God's power.

Marcus Borg keeps telling us to look at what the Bible stories mean --
and for us, the season of Epiphany, beginning with the visit of the
three seekers from "the East" means that Christ has come among us
for more than just the people of his town, or country, or time: that
Christ has come for all, for you and for me and for our friends.

It seems to me that Epiphany reminds us of mission. We reach out
to and for others because Christ brings life and light to ALL.

So: who are you going to bring with you to church this year?
